Happy Birthday to You, by Anouk Kruithof

I saw this on Claxton Projects today, I thought it was very different and original:

From the site, here is some info about the project: Happy Birthday To You was created whilst Kruithof completed a three-month artist residency in the Altrecht Psychiatric Institution in the Netherlands. During that time, ten resident patients celebrated their birthdays and shared their personal desires and wishes with Kruithof. The resulting work is an honest and revealing multi-layered montage, using written word, photographic portraits and photo-collage–a work more akin to an art performance piece than a traditional photographic documentation.

Here is a link to the book where you can read more about the project and see more spreads: http://www.claxtonprojects.com/#!books/anouk-kruithof/
