Foraging for Type

There is a wonderful post on the New Yorker‘s website by Rachel Arons titled, Foraging for Type. I’m pretty sure all designers and type mavens do this: we look at labels and signs differently than most people do. I love old tins and hand painted signs, I also love old clothing labels, and any sort of signage that someone put some thought into. Here are some samples from the blog but I suggest you check this and the other blogs mentioned in her piece out. It’s like a nice typographic vitamin for your day.
