As both a mom and as a designer I have long appreciated lovely children’s books and try to buy them for my girls whenever I can.

On March 18th, 6:30–8:30pm, noted historian, curator, and critic Leonard Marcus will discuss the long and vibrant tradition of graphic artists as creators of illustrated children’s books. Highlights will include examples of work of Vladimir Lebedev, Kurt Schwitters, Leonard Weisgard, Bruno Munari, Leo Lionni, Eric Carle, and Frank Viva.

Sounds like another great event at the Type Director’s Club!
